This mattress is medium firm, not too soft, not too hard, but comfortable enough. Actually the perfect spot between too soft and too hard. It’s the perfect thickness and all of standard sheets fit very nicely around the edges.You will be happy with your purchase and I’ll be using this mattress for a long time. It is incredibly comfortable and perfect for sleeping without back pain. Your previous mattress may be too squishy and uncomfortable.This mattress offers the perfect thickness and support. The springs aren’t loud, you donot notice eachother moving around at night and the corners are designed in a way that our sheets never seem to pop off the corners or anything (which may be a big issue with your last mattress).
