- Installation guide: Installation hardware kits are required and sold separately. Each D-ring requires one cable rope (do not use nylon ropes as they break easily). Connect the other ends of the cables to existing poles, trees, or walls with shade sail hardware kits (we recommend using ColourTree hardware kits and cables for best performance and appearance).
- Measurement and warranty: Our shade sails are measured from D-ring to D-ring, leaving 1-1.5 feet of space for the hardware kit between the shade sail D-ring and mounting points. All edges are finished slightly curved to prevent sagging. Shade sails come with a 5-year full warranty under normal weather and usage conditions.
