Generally, in some models of Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Hyundai and Kia, the headlight bulb is a regular H7 bulb, but it comes with a retainer, which locks the H7 halogen bulb on the housing socket. So, if you want to change halogen h7 bulbs to LED, the retainer adapter is needed. The universal retainer adapter is available on the market but we are told the universal adapter is hard to lock the h7 LED bulb and get an awful beam pattern. So LASFIT re-designed a custom H7 LED headlight bulb for these cars. All-in-one design, no need to connect other retainers/holders/ adapters.
