The MFM Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal Underlayment is a 45-mill, self-adhering, waterproofing underlayment composed of a white, non-slip, cross-laminated polymer film. This Premium Self-Adhering Waterproofing Protection Underlayment features a film laminated to a high-temperature rubberized asphalt adhesive with a paper backing that easily tears off before installation. Ultra HT is engineered for use under asphalt shingles and metal roofing systems. The waterproof shingle underlayment can also be used in valleys, ridges, around chimneys, at eaves for protection against ice damns and wind-driven rain, or as a whole roof covering for secondary water resistance. MFM’s Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal bonds to the substrate and seals around fasteners to limit the damage caused by water penetration or leaks. This self-sealing roof underlayment must be covered within 90 days after application. MFM backs the Ultra HT Wind & Water Seal Underlayment with a 10-year limited warranty.
