QGVC344HD are heavy duty v-bar highway service chains made for professional use for off-road applications. The cross chains consist of our Quik Grip traditional ladder style link chain that is manufactured to NACM (National Association of Chain Manufacturers) specifications. A small “V” of low carbon steel material is welded onto each link for added traction and durability. The cross chain rod diameter is 20% larger for more aggressive applications, greater torque, and longer life. The side chain is 30% larger and the end hooks are 51% larger. CTO chain has been exposed to a special heat treatment process to prevent brittleness in extreme cold conditions, such as those found in Canada, the Rocky Mountains, Alaska, and other high altitudes. CAM tool QG20095 is supplied in each bag. Chain tensioners are not Requied. Fits tire sizes: 11.5-22.5, 10.00-22, 11-24.5, 275/80-24.5, 285/75-24.5, and 295/75-24.5. Chains should be fitted to tire before actual use. Fitment can be affected by age of tire, tire manufacturer and/or tread type. Please consult your owner’s manual for any tire chain restrictions.
