The Kenwood KFC-6966S is a slam-dunk 2-way replacement speaker for tired, old factory 6″ x 9″ speakers. Designed for door or rear deck applications, this speaker system has a water-resistant polypropylene cone for great midbass and midrange response. Cloth surrounds improve efficiency for maximum sound output with minimum power input. A 2″ cone tweeter with ferrite magnet and 1/2″ ceramic diaphragm tweeter extend this speaker system’s frequency response all the way up to 20 kHz, giving you crystal clear highs and amazing off-axis response. Designed and built using Kenwood’s enlarged magnetic circuit and Sound Field Enhancer technology for low distortion and live-like sound. Sold in pairs with grills and mounting hardware.
