The surface is made from smooth EuroKera ceramic glass in a clean white finish for a durable, modern look. This unit does not ship with a power cord and must be hard-wired by a professional.Five elements let you meet a variety of cooking needs. The two extra large dual ring elements in the rear (2200W 9″ element on the left and 2500W 9 3/4″ element on the right) allow you to efficiently heat woks, Dutch ovens, and other large cooking vessels or to switch to the inner 5 1/2″ elements as needed. The 6 1/2″ 1200W front burners cover standard sizes, while the center 100W warming zone element lets you keep cookware heated without overcooking.The digital controls are centered upfront, ensuring users won’t have to reach over hot burners to adjust the temperature. The intuitive touch design is easy to operate and clean. This unit also includes a timer function that lets you program a power level and cook time (up to 99 minutes) that can either turn the unit off when complete, or serve as a visual countdown with an audible alert when the set time has been reached.
