Water will come out of suspension and form white gummy masses in various areas of the unit (can not be flushed). Any oil with water exceeding 300 PPM is corrosive leading to rust, hydrolysis, sludge. Emulsified water can cause oil to behave unexpectedly, and can cause clogged filters, and increased oil acidity.
