(Bypass Control Valve For Hydronic Systems) Used to eliminate excessive pump head (pressure) when most radiator valves are closed due to reduced demand. The differential pressure regulator is located on a bypass between supply and return sides of a hydronic heating system. The control device maintains a constant differential between the two sides by opening the bypass whenever the difference between the supply and the return reaches the set point. Flow noise is reduced, especially noise due to throttling of valves. The simple installation requires no electrical hookup. Desired pressure is set by turning the regulating handle (cap or nut). A pressure indicator is built in. Valve body is brass with other parts of engineered thermoplastics and stainless steel. EPDM type diaphragm. Size: 3/4″A: 6-1/4″B: 4″C: 1-1/2″.
