The Hydroshield Lifetime Synthetic Underlayment is composed of a woven synthetic material which gives it high strength. Hydroshield Lifetime is UV resistant and can remain uncovered for up to 6 months. This underlayment has a double-sided slip resistant walking surface, giving roofers extra grip and added safety. In addition, Hydroshield Lifetime will keep you PROTECTED BY THE SHIELD as it won’t tear off, buckle or curl when it is wet, and it is 20 times stronger than asphaltic felt. Depending on the pitch of the roof and surface conditions, it is recommended that roof jacks, toe-boards or a storage platform be secured to support roofing materials placed on the roof.
