This rugged sub can really rock, with a massive magnet and heavy-duty componentry that can handle up to 250 watts RMS. It’s tough, too, with a sealed waterproof front and the stylish, UV-resistant grille of your choice. Add it to your existing system, or use it in conjunction with JL Audio’s marine speakers to create a powerful sound system that will really rock the waves.

The motor structure allows for extended cone movement, so your bass will be loud and low, yet precise and smooth. This versatile sub will work in sealed or ported enclosures, but it’s optimized for free-air applications, so you can mount it directly into a bulkhead if there’s no space for a box.

The coolest cones around
Any sub with built-in lighting is cool enough, but JL Audio M6 models are something special. The unique Transflective™ cone is designed to glow evenly when the LEDs shine through) but the cone looks silver when the lights aren’t in use, so your sub will look awesome whether the lights are on or off.

The LEDs themselves are mounted to the speaker’s frame and illuminate the cone from underneath. This very smart bit of engineering ensures smooth, vibrant light without the “hot spots” you’d notice on lesser LED speakers. It sounds like a subtle difference, but when you see them lit up, you’ll understand what a huge improvement this is. You can choose from a variety of fixed lighting colors or control the color and intensity of the lighting with the MLC-RW RGB LED Controller (sold separately).
