Rustic Maple Center Pieces are used in conjunction with Live Edge Pieces to construct a custom width live edge slab. Use only the center pieces if you like a square edged slab. Harvested in Canada, each piece is surfaced on 3 sides (S3S) and has pocket holes drilled in one edge to make joining to other pieces quick and easy, using 2-1/2″ HD pocket hole screws and glue (both sold separately). Pieces can be stained and finished to fit your needs. Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species. Rustic lumber may include checks, cracks, splits, or knots.
