The EuroFlame Amadora wood fired pizza oven is a truly, Italian-style pizza oven made by local, Portuguese artisans in a small town just outside the port city of Lisbon, Portugal. This oven is an authentic, handmade wood fired pizza oven, built in the same fashion as has been for centuries in Europe.
How Big is It?
The EuroFlame Amadora is large enough to comfortably fit two 12″ pizzas at once, or one 18″ pizza at a time. This makes it an excellent size for home use, fitting perfectly in a backyard or existing outdoor kitchen.
How is it Built?
Each Amadora Oven is built on a strong, cement foundation with steel hooks placed in each corner of the base to make lifting it on a countertop a breeze. The outer dome is made of an inner layer of brick and mortar which is then covered with a layer of refractory cement. This allows it to be hot on the inside but still cool to the touch on the outside.
Can I Add Tile, Stucco, Stone, or Paint To It?
Yes! The standard finish is white, but the outside of this oven is very flexible. You can paint, tile, stone/rock or even stucco it to match your home design specifications. You’ll just need to use a high heat paint or adhesive. We recommend that you first cure your oven and use it for a few weeks and treat with our Oven Repair Kit before you do this.
