The reliability of this pump is due to the premium parts used, such as a flex impeller and ceramic shafts & bearings, resulting in a durable and efficient pump for your waterfall or koi pond. The construction and quality parts used in this pump allow it to pass debris up to .25 in. Our unique, backflush technology allows for the finer particles to flow out the rear of the pump, ensuring shafts and bearings are continuously cleaned, while cooling the pump. The shape and form of the pump allows for vertical or horizontal placement in ponds or skimmer boxes, while the convenient handle makes for easy transportation. The included adapter allows the pump to connect to your choice of tubing with a 1.5 or 2 in. I.D (Inner Diameter). The 16 ft. long power cord has a compact plug that is designed to easily fit within at least 1 in. ID conduit for set-ups wanting to hide the cord. When it is time to perform maintenance on the pump, no tools will be needed thanks to quick access to all moving parts. For set-ups not using a filter, or for extra protection, we’ve included a pumpshield® mesh barrier bag to tie around the pump and keep extra-large debris out.
