The Rolair® 5.5HP Gas-Powered Direct Drive Compressor keeps your pneumatic tools working when you don’t have access to electricity. This unit uses gasoline to fuel its Honda engine and outputs 4.6 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at 90 pounds per square inch (PSI). The Rolair compressor uses splash lubrication to increase pump life, an intake filter to reduce noise levels and a throttle that controls how much energy the engine uses when it reaches target pressure levels. On the tank, a gauge shows how much pressure has built inside. An external roll cage protects the compressor from impact damage on the job and works in conjunction with a cast-iron cylinder for long-term performance. This unit relies on ball bearings to increase the efficiency of the pump.
