Directions for Using the SEM HR010 Hot Rod Black Paint Kit: Prime bare metal surfaces with an appropriate bare metal, corrosion resistant primer. For rough metal apply a primer surfacer to be sanded smooth before painting with Hot Rod Black Paint.; Sand according to primer manufacturer’s recommendations.; Mix the Hot Rod Black Paint by volume (4) parts of Hot Rod Black – to (1) part of Hot Rod Reducer – to (1) part of Hot Rod Catalyst.; Spray Hot Rod Black Paint with a 1.3 – 1.4 MM fluid tip at approximately 7″ from the surface.
