Tillage Depth & Operation:
Depth Control: Determined by blade design, soil conditions, and operating techniques. The skid plate reduces resistance but does not control depth.
Soft Soil: Adjust blade-to-soil distance to avoid excessive depth. If digging too deep, raise the control lever slightly or shorten the lifting rods.
Hard Soil: Improve penetration by shortening the upper link, adding weight, shifting to a lower gear, or increasing blade shaft speed.
