If you chose the recirculating option the following steps are required:
1.Remove the recirculating plate cover by removing the two set screws.
2.Find the below part inside the hood,remove the screw and flip the lever to “Ductless”, then reattach the screw.
3.Install a carbon filter kit#CF-0475 (NOT included, sold separately)
This kitchen hood can be convertible for ductless used.
Please follow up the steps as shown in the above pictures to convert the range hood in ductless mode, it is suggested that to change the kit about every 3 months based on actual usage conditions, to ensure effective removal of smoke and odors.
